This guide is for users, and will show you how to sync your discord account with your fansly account. If you are a creator, and want to learn how to set up syncing for your fansly account, please check out the creator section.
What does this guide cover?
This guide will cover how to sync your discord account with your fansly account. This will allow you to receive a role in a discord server when you subscribe to a creator on fansly.
What is syncing?
Syncing is a feature that allows you to receive a role in a discord server when you subscribe to a creator on fansly. This is a great way to get access to exclusive content, and is a great way to support your favorite creators!
How do I sync my account?
Glad you asked! Syncing your account is super easy. First, some prerequisites:
- You must have a discord account and a fansly account.
- You must be in a discord server that has Fansly Creator Bot in it (or a branded version of it).
After you have met the prerequisites, you can sync your account by doing the following:
Run the /sync command in the discord server you want to sync your account in. Follow the prompts to sync your account. Example:
Link codes only stay valid for 60 seconds. If you do not use the link code within 60 seconds, you will have to run the /sync command again.
After you link, you will receive a response back from the bot letting you know that you have successfully linked your account. Example:
This can be caused by a multitude of things. Here are some common reasons why you may not have received your roles:
- You don't meet the requirements for the role (e.g. you are not subscribed to the creator).
- The creator has not run a sync lately. Syncs happen when a creator runs the /sync command in their server, please remain patient.
If you are still having issues, please contact the creator of the server you are trying to sync in. They will be able to help you further.
What if I want to unlink my account?
Unlinking your account will remove your roles from the discord server you are in. You will have to run the /sync command again to get your roles back.
To unlink your account, run the /unlink command in the discord server you want to unlink your account in. After you confirm, your account will be unlinked and all data will be removed.
This also happens if you leave the discord server you are in. If you leave the discord server, your account will be unlinked and all data will be removed.
What if I want to change my discord account?
Please unlink your account, and then run the /sync command again on your new account. This will allow you to link your new discord account to your fansly account.
You have successfully synced your account! If you have any questions, please feel free to join our discord server and ask for help in the support channel. We are always happy to help!
